Extreme Home Make Over is finishing a project here tomorrow. The project went well, except Ty Pennington and six other crew members couldn't stand up to the heat and humidity here. They were hospitalized (treated and released the next day) for dehydration and heat stroke.
Folks here TRIED to tell them, but they refused to listen. It has actually been fairly pleasant here this week, with the temp only going over 100 for a couple of days.
When you don't live in this weather all the time you have to take it easy. 105 is not all that hot.....UNTIL you add 95 percent humidity.
They did a great job with over 500 local volunteers each day. The wife is out partying with Driving & Crying and some local musicians tonight as the house will be wrapped up tomorrow.
