I played around my cutting up a pen blank then glued together to simulate it being cut crosscut. Nice effect but I can see the joins

The cross cut look is very classic. I like what you did and the lines are not that visible. That would be a "keeper" for me.

LOL !!!

I actually LIKE the props ... I don't agree with the critique that said they detract from the pen ... NOT so, IMHO !!

But on the subject of this pen ... it looks pretty good to me. . However, I am not a fan of cross-cut ... dunno why ... that's just me !!!
