I signed up for the exotics mailing list at work, and have recieved it, but it seems the last time or 2 I have not received it. Is this going on for anyone else? I checked the spam folder, just in case!

Yep, me too.
I talked to Ed thru pm, out of the 3 that have been sent, i have only gotten one also.
Glad to know that it's not just me.

Glad to know you are watching!!!

We have mailed on September 27, July 28, June 9 and April 22.

The Weekly Specials have NOT, so far, been accompanied by an email campaign.

I CAN DO that, if you would like--it is NOT hard. My fear is that if I contact customers too often they will stop reading!!! Right now, the last mailer had seven "take me off your mailing list" and over 2000 were read--30% MAY not have been opened. (I am told this does not mean they were not, just can't confirm that they WERE opened.

Edit in: one more statistic--ZERO were "undeliverable", and yes I know this feature works, because when products are shipped an email goes out--some of these come back as "undeliverable" when a period is misplaced or, somebody forgets the "m" in .com!!!!

A couple of the "take me off" were from employers where the person is no longer there. So, what think you all?? How often would you like to hear from us?

Ed,
I would have to say as a former marketing student... Bi-Weekly mailings are NOT to much.
Cook Woods does a twice a week mailing, and that gets a bit much especially when the wood porn is either sold out or more than budget allows LOL.

JMHO

I saw one of your weekly deals on here the other day, and it said from the email you will know how to get a better deal, or something like that.

That referred to the Sept 27 email that did have a unique code.

It also had a few links to the website--30% of the people who read the email, clicked on a link. (We do not know who, and we cannot follow individuals, but the software gives me an overview of how "successful" each element might have been)

I will start sending more emails though, as long as there is interest in them!!

Thanks!!!!:biggrin::biggrin:

Hi Ed,
I signed up also and have never received one! I follow you on FB so I didn't complain. Somehow I manage to spend all my money without it!

I know you do some good things on Facebook, but I HATE Facebook, so I seldom open it up. I do though, read all of my email newsletters, especially my woodworking related ones. If you were to put out a weekly or semi-monthly newsletter that has specials, new products, review of some of your unique products, etc, I would love it.

I am using you as a test, Freddie.

I just sent an email from Exotics to the address that the newsletters went to. Please let me know if you receive it (or not)!!!

Thanks,

Ed
