HI

Can anyone tell me to get hold of them? I've send 2 emails to the web site and 1 each to Ed and Dawn. Called the phone number, it answers like a fax.
NO replies as yet. I need my order for an up-coming show that has beed in since Nov. 16th.

THanks
REB

Hey Reb, I did not get a PM from you, and usually those do work pretty well!

Ed did hand me a copy of the pm/email correspondences that he had with you yesterday though, I think they were from around 4 in the afternoon....

Please send me a PM so we can finish up the payment and other loose ends and get this on its way to you.

Just as a point of reference, Dawn handles approximately 50 emails a day. I am fairly lazy, usually only a dozen or so.

So, do we ever miss anyone? Probably. Yes, a PM on here is a GREAT way to communicate. We have mentioned before, and it is still true, the email for exotics is "Missing" some communications. We don't know why and Dean has installed a backup system which Dawn checks a couple times a day.

The "truth of the matter" in this particular situation involves two orders that were placed, one with a note to change the other and Paypals not matching completely, so there are numerous loose ends.

We both also get numerous emails unrelated to Exotics asking for our "expertise" to answer diverse questions about casting, turning, finishing, buffing, etc. While none of these is related to our "business", we try to give individual answers to numerous questions we have answered previously on the IAP. So, our days are fairly full. If we don't get back to you within 24 hours, yes, a PM from the IAP is probably the best way to be noticed---and I receive far fewer than Dawn, so PMing me (as you did yesterday and I responded within an hour) is a good plan.

Hope this helps everyone to communicate with us. We enjoy answering your questions, but we are working 14 hour days, seven days a week---and we can't always keep up. Sorry.

Feel free to pm me if you have any additional questions--my PM box is currently "caught up".:biggrin::biggrin:

And thanks to all of you who have tried ordering from Exotics!!!! We appreciate EVERY order. We TRY to fill every order within a couple hours. We also will combine orders, as you request, but we don't see that until the second order is filled--so it requires additional effort to repackage your first order in a larger package, assuming we SEE your second order before we have taken the first to the Post Office. From your point of view, it looks simple---from our point of view, it is easily overlooked, in the effort to get every order out QUICKLY!!!!

Hope this makes sense--and YES, we do ENJOY the rather hectic pace, lately. Keep it up!!!!

This may help clarify, Randy.

I got this in my email this morning:

Delivery failed 20 attempts: re*****@rand***ates.com

I have inserted the asterisks to avoid making this address public, but it was the one I had as a "return" on the mail I got from you, yesterday. Don't know where the problem is, but I now see why you thought we ignored you.

(Arrived at 1:06AM today, just getting to reading and answering my email from overnight)

I get those or something similar frequently .... I'm not aware of what causes it. I'm not sure why this happens either but sometimes the system keeps attempting to deliver and sometimes it just drops the email into the dead letter office or where ever it is they toss undelivered email after one attempt.

Thanks for the info, Ed.. I tried sending you a couple of emails over the summer to order a few items and never heard back. I figured (hoped) it may have been an email problem... I'll put my order together and try again, this time i'll try the PM method also.

Thanks to the several folks who sent me PM's!!!! Nice to know most of you are getting what you order (and a freebee or two) and enjoying it!!!

We WILL keep trying to be the best!!!!
