Cocobolo Burl - Got some great pieces here! I bought a good sized block of Coco burl back in 2009 and sold a few pieces here and used a bunch to make some AWESOME pens but now I have been away from selling pens for 5+ years and have been slowly selling off my collection (hoard) of good wood. So, now I have some pieces here that might interest you folks.
Here is without a doubt one of the finest Burls in the world. Absolute gorgeous figure going all over the place, layers of color, loads and loads of character blooming out of this fine piece. These have been sitting around in the open air since 2009, oxidizing/getting darker, so now it's hard to get good shots of the character on these pieces without cutting them down and therefore reducing the size. I have sanded them a good bit to get some of the color and grain to show, some are hard to see, BUT it's there!!
All are appx. ¾"sq and bigger Length is listed below.
Group #1 $25ea Available:1 2 3 4 6 7 8 (SOLD; #5)
