Just an FYI for others. Discovered this weekend the twist mech for the gatsby doesn't fit the exec even though they look identical. The threads on the gatsby are bigger. I was bumming when I discovered that lol.

Don't work quite the same either
The don't work quite the same either...the internal plunger of the exec transmission extends beyond the threads when it it operated while the Gatsby the internal plunger doesn't - at least not very far.

does anyone know of a vendor that sells the twist mechs? I have one I need to replace and haven't found any through my regular sources

PSI
Call PSI - that's one of their kits and they probably have some even if they are not listed in their catalog.
