Does anyone know if there is a site anywhere or an article or whatever that illustrates the final look of the different finishes used typically in woodworking? Tung Oil, Linseed oil, CA, Lacquer, Shellac, Waxes (different kinds)?

Something with a bare wood, then finished wood preferably so a person could see what a finish looks like when applied, how it CHANGES the wood (before and after pics)? Not just in penmaking but woodworking in general. CA finish looks real good to me but I do some other woodworking and turning ... or I'm starting to dabble, and CA finish while great for a pen would never work for a kitchen table:)

Thanks.

Pictures on a screen really wouldn't help much. There's just too much variation from monitor to monitor and from camera to camera.

Here's some good ca finishes I did awhile back.
