I asked AI to generate an old styled photograph of myself as a manual machinist in front of a lathe. Strangely enough, I don't think it got right the concept of what a "lathe" is. But look, it gave me the famous machinist's belly. No way I'm that fat in real life, right!?

Ah but that's a natural adaption to lessen " chatter on the work " .

The CUSHION around the waist allows you to better mould your physique to the gouge ( very useful in deep bowl hollowing( DAMHIKT ).

Mick Hanbury, extremely talented UK turner has been " refining" his waistline using the" beer consumption "method for years . Rarely gets chatter on his work . Hasn't improved his singing but he doesn't care
