Eucalyptus Cigar

A friend stopped in a woodsmith store in Iowa while traveling and text me wanting to know what kind of wood is good for a pen - I said burls! He came home with 6 pen blanks, 2 of them eucalyptus so I made this pen for him.

That's a good looking pen keith. How did you do your initials? decal? laser engraved? Whatever the method it's a nice touch.

I bought a small laser and put the TB (Turningbyrd) on all my pens.

Maybe a bit more curly than burly , but it makes a nice looking pen .

Very nice! I like the curl in that piece. Great kit choice - the Cigar is great for really showing off a piece of wood. I also really like your maker's mark on there.
