That looks to be a decent price. However, for woodturning, the smaller ones would likely not be used much (Unless you are making those custom exotic wood toothpicks)[:D]. You can get nice ER-32's at Enco for around 12 bucks a piece.

James, I got mine locally. I found an ebay seller with good prices and discovered that he was local. I got with him offline and odered a 15 piece set starting at 3/4" and working down (I think my smallest is 1/4"). I paid less than $8 per IIRC and was very pleased with the product. When he found out what I was doing with them, he sounded VERY interested in handling a collet chuck machined to fit our lathes. I've tried to contact him for other folks since and he hasn't returned my calls or emails.[?] I guess I just got lucky for once.

Ken,

The ER-25 is a smaller system. You woudl need a ER-32 set for the Beall. The same seller also has ER-32 kits as well. The number (25,32,40 etc) refers to the collar size (Diameter) in mm.

DOHY!!! My bad! I did a search on ER-32 collets (can't remember why) and when this came up I didn't really bother reading the header.[B)]

Sorry, all! And thanks for correcting me, Ken.[^]

Billy. He sells the ER-32's as well, but you are still an idiot! [:D]

Glad I never make such mistakes. You know like the time I glued my lips shut with CA glue and had a stuffy nose.
