I routinely color the epoxy when I'm using translucent blanks, as well as paint the hole and tube. I used yellow acrylic paint to color the epoxy, and yellow spray paint for the blank and tube. I've never seen the epoxy become discolored afterwards. This is a mystery to me.

Could it have dissolved some of the play-dough or whatever you used to plug the blank? I noticed it is a reddish color. - Dave
I thought about that. But it's modeling clay, and I've never seen it happen before. I guess I could experiment with it and see if I can recreate the effect.
