Hi all, I've gone off the cliff. Being a pen blank addict combined with numerous credit cards is dangerous. I love it. Thanks to a member, I just bought two metal blanks. Go here if you dare: http://www.metalpenblanks.com/ I'm afraid of what I'm becoming - a drooling, rocking woman with a room full of blanks.

I'll send photos when I actually make a pen. When I do, it will "knock the fuzz right off the peaches".

Thanks -Midi

welcome to the madness

so what did you work on befor pens:biggrin:

Those were my dark years. Is there anything before pens? I wasn't doing any woodworking before I got penned up. I have since taken a few swipes at a chunk of wood (bowl blank), but it wasn't as satisfying as pens. I want to make a few platters and bowls...but not quite yet.

Thanks,

Midi

Welcome Midi. Glad to have you here.

One of the most important things is to be able to show off your work here on this site. The following is a great info article on "how to" by Jeff:

This link will lead you to a great place to keep your eye on things. It's kind of a guide to the who, what, and whatever for of the IAP site.

Here is another link - a PDF on the acronyms used here. I am sure you know many but this will help with those you don't.
