Enterprise Blue Maple

This is an Enterprise finial twist pen in chrome and gunmetal, from Woodcraft. It's a years old kit I recently ran across. It's apparently discontinued, they're not listed on Woodcraft's website any longer. Shame, it's a good looking kit. The blank is a cutoff that's been on a shelf in my garage for over 10 years. I believe it's dyed stabilized quilted maple that I bought from Arizona Silhouette. It's marked $5.50, which is cheap for a stabilized blank. Turned out really nice. The finish is Pens Plus.

That is definitely an Arizona Silhouette blank. I recognize the handwriting and placement. I recently found about 40 blanks I had stashed away in my shed. They turn absolutely amazing and they also smell unique while turning them. Nice looking pen!

I noticed the odor. Smelled like resin to me.

Yes. The blanks from Arizona always have a distinctive odor. Sweet smelling like maybe plexiglas or similar. Just know they smell different.
