Engraving polymer clay

I would like to know if polymer clay blanks can be laser engraved. I have a customer who wants to have a pen made with polymer clay and engraved.

My first question would be whether there's any PVC content to the PC. Maybe the copper/flame test is in order.

They both do engraving and could probably answer your question.

You also may want to check with Bruce Robbins, I think it can be done on a CNC mill.
