Enduro on African Blackwood.....?

Have any of you used Enduro on African Blackwood? I have some coming and have come to learn that it can be a bit tricky with a CA finish....I use a fair amount of Enduro, as well as an occasional Lacquer....What are your experiences? Thanks...

Hi Don, I have used Enduro with success after a few failures with CA and blackwood. Then again, I continue to screw up the occasional CA finish on a lot of woods. [] The only problem with Enduro is the wait time.

Enduro is the only finish that I have used in several years now, in fact I have not found a wood that I can't use Enduro on. Many people have trouble finishing Walnut but I have very good results with Enduro on Walnut.

Thank you all.....Enduro it is....I have also now learned that Lacquer works OK as well.

I have used CA with blackwood (and am with my next 2 pens I'm doing blackwood on) and the tricky part for me is just that the blackwood shows up every little sanding scratch and mistake. I do the wetsand with thick CA on the blackwood first to seal it in and then do additional CA coats afterwards. I'm not trying to discourage enduro finish as I've never tried one, just giving my .02
