Elm but mostly plywood

This is the second and probably the last plywood pen that I will make. It was for novelty value only.
The end grain and adhesive gives a birty appearance.

I'm fascinated by your use of plywood as a ready-made segmenting material. But I also agree with your critique about the end grain. Maybe instead of calling it "dirty" I'd put on my marketing hat and sell it as "marbled."

Not all plywood is created with that amount of dirt . Maybe someone thought that was a good way to get rid of some useless Irish bog oak !
