:biggrin:All right no one has asked it, so I will speak on the elephant in the room. . .

I play Pokémon Go. Yes my wife, daughters and I are going to different places we normally would not go and walk around. This past weekend we went to the Botanical Gardens by the airport and walked around even though I think we were 8 feet from the sun.

Who else plays?

Do you think it will become an Olympic Sport???:biggrin::biggrin:

How sad our society has become.

Think what you may, but my son and his family play. What it's done is get them out of the house, walking and getting exercise, and spending family time together. He's enjoyed them doing things together.

They've also met other families they probably wouldn't have met.

The park I walk the dog at has become so popular that I can't get a parking spot anymore. This is getting bigger and bigger by the day.

It is just very sad to see people with phones no matter what they are doing. I was watching the game yesterday and even the Olympics and every other person is on the phone. People walking around with their heads down looking at a little screen is pathetic to me. It is a fad. When this goes away everyone will get fat again from not walking.

What did we do before this. How did we survive??? A totally different generation for sure. Don't walk into that train crossing the tracks or that tree that is just ahead of you.

I agree, however my wife and I are bringing my kids places we normally didn't go. We have gone to the beach several times this year, they play in the sand my wife and I mess around on the phone, but often we are doing things with them.

What I find sad and pathetic are some folks who feel that what they like to spend their time doing is more worthy than what others spend their time doing.

I have spent upwards of 10 to 15 hours on making a pen (segmenting can be a bit of a challenge at first). I would think that the vast majority of folks in the world (and possibly in my family) would consider that a huge (pathetic) waste of time. It would likely be better spent with family, maybe playing games with the kids . . .

If you spend all of your time trying to solve world hunger, then maybe you have a point about playing games as a waste of time, but I doubt that is the case.

Yes, I have a cell phone. No, I don't play pokeman go or video games (except for maybe a little solitaire). If you see me walking around with my phone in my face I am probably looking at the IAP or reading something about sports.

So if you want to talk about pokemon go, please continue, if you want to criticize others for how they spend their time, I guess you are welcome to, but it really doesn't add anything positive to life (kind of like this post).

As for me, I'm going to set my large backside on the couch for the evening and watch other people do all sorts of athletic stuff that would be good for me to do.
