My niece asked me to make pens for her and her husband to sign the papers for their new house with. She chose the kits and blank. The kits are both Elegant Monarch from Turners Warehouse. One is gunmetal/chrome, and the other is gun polish/antique copper. The blank is spalted beech, also from Turners Warehouse. Both pens are from one blank. The finish is my favorite Watco Danish Oil. I have to say, they turned out better than I expected. I think Cara and Shane will be happy with them.

I'll admit, I didn't have high hopes for this blank. But it surprised me.
