The black nylon, delrin, (or what ever it is) bushing containing the nib assembly is a friction fit into another metal bushing.
The cap screws onto this part.

The problem is the friction fit is not tight enough.
CA only holds it for a while before it fails again.

Is this common to this pen kit?
What adhesive would you use to bond it so it wont come loose again?

Why not try adding a thin layer of CA inside the brass tube and letting it dry before you press in the plastic part. The CA would reduce the inside diameter of the tube, creating a tighter press fit.

Haven`t had that problem , but I will never use CA around the plastic parts of an El Grande . The fumes act as an environmental stress cracking agent , and will cause the plastic to crack , perhaps several months later .

Truckfixr`s solution sounds good , but make sure the CA is fully cured ( a week or more) before assembly .

I do quite a few El Grandes and Churchill's and haven't had that problem but if I did I would consider Locktite before CA, it sounds like you may have expanded or distorted the tube while pressing it in.

It is not the part that goes into the brass tube.
It is the plastic nib part that goes into the part that goes into the tube.
Clear as mud isnt it.
I have had several do this.

Anyhow ... I think epoxy will do it.
