I love these little pens. This is an Editor in gunmetal, from Exotic Blanks. The wood is padauk, which I really like, even though I'm allergic to it. The finish is Pens Plus. I made this for a co-worker. I'm happy with it.

I love that pen kit too, so easy to make and assemble. The marking on it, I'm not a fan of that, not just yours, I don't like it on any pen. To me it cheapens them. Just my opinion though so please don't take offense.

For me the simplicity of the design makes this Pen a winner. If its a present the engraving personalises it I see nothing wrong with that. Excellent work.

Nothing at all wrong with it, just my own personal preference.

I'm not offended, just confused. The engraving personalizes the pen, and everyone I've given an engraved pen to has loved it.

And so they should you put in alot of effort making a beautiful item keep it up.
I am interested in Laser marking but have not yet committed to buying one mainly cost against how much use it would get. Most of my pens are given away and if I sell them I ask them to cover the kit price. It a hobby and not a business. But I think it elevates a pen for special occasions.

Ken of course you are entitled to your opinions and from what I have seen of your work you a very skilled worker far beyond what I produce. Your opinions are welcomed by me. The IAP is a great organisation and as a relatively new member I have learned alot from you guys.
My thoughts which I am sure are like yours are to offer encouragement. If I offended you in any way please accept my apologies.
