Just finished this yesterday, using EZ Bond CA from Exotic Blanks, and the Fangar Method slightly modified. The Fangar document is in the Library. The Aluminum kit is very lightweight! Going to be comparing with the Vertex Click kit, which is within 1/8" the same length. The Chittum burl wood is spectacular to work with! The variations in eyes, and feathers, and veins is not something I've seen in ANY other burls.

Bruce, the blank, pen and photos are wonderful!

I am also a fan of this kit, so I'll leave it at that. This blank is very special - you did it justice with your turning and finish. Very well done.

Thanks for sharing. đź‘Ť.
