I got this blank from Ed some time back. It is one of his Italian resins. This material is sweet to turn as long as you obey the cardinal rules of sharp tools, light cuts. I feel that these resins beg to be matched with a fountain pen, in this case, a Gold Ti Churchill.

Comments of all flavors welcome.

Nice job, Cav!!!

Yes, I do have more of that material, but not a lot.

(The pic you e-mailed made it look about six feet long - looks much better HERE!!)

I'm guessing you painted the tubes black. The material does have very translucent areas, so it does have to be painted.

Thanks, Ed. I forgot to mention that I spray painted the tubes black, let the pain dry overnight, and used epoxy to glue the tubes.

BTW, the pix I sent you was from the BIG blank you sent me because I'm such a nice guy! [:D][;)][:D]

Excellent combination. I like the Churchill and this one of the best combinations I've seen.

But, you let the "pain" dry overnight? How does that work?[:D][}:)]
