Ebony and Bacote Big Ben

I made these Father's day weekend. I couldn't decide which to give as a gift, so I let dad choose. He chose the bacote, so I took the ebony one to work. I'd love to hear thoughts and any criticisms.

I have to agree with the general consensus: the Bocote is my favorite, too. I have done a couple of ebony pens, and most folks I quizzed about them said they were ok, but they did not prefer a wood so dark. On the other hand, Bocote is always very distinctive in its contrasting colors and grain lines. Congrats on two great pens.

It's the Bocote for me as well.
I think the shape of the Ebony, being a little Bulbous, distracts from the overall impact of the Pen.
Both Excellent Pens, Good Fit and Finish.
