One of my other things I like is home made bread and I made it, not on the lathe or any tool just me and me. This is whole wheat I make all the time nothing better than a slice and some butter.

I just bought my wife a Hamilton Beach professional mixers with all the gadgets for Christmas and we'll be making fresh bread soon. We were thinking Kitchen Aid, but it had really bad reviews when it came to bread making.

I use a recipe called Amish White Bread google it and instead of all white I use 4 cups white and 2 cups wheat also the recipe makes 3 loaves not 2. If you have any questions give me a shout.

Beautiful! I love a fresh loaf of bread.
If you're looking for some new recipes my brother has written a few cookbooks. He's got a blog too. He sometimes gives recipes in the blog. Check it out here:

Darn it Jerry I must have driven pretty close to you on Hwy 10 on Mon. 1/2/12 going to LA, CA, and forgot to look you up. A piece of that bread would have made my world after driving all those hours. BTW, since we didn't make it on time to Tuscan to see the museum of natural wonders we bought the life time return ticket, so I think maybe around spring break we make it out that way again. This time I will call you for sure to play in your shop and bake some of your bread together.

When I was in grad school the first time I would make two loaves a week. I made two because me and my house mate would eat one as soon as it came out of the oven. Local honey and real butter. I got a dough hook for my mixer and just looking for the time. Looks mighty tasty.

eh, eh, love it.

I used to make bread and set the timer to start at 6:00 a.m. so we would awake to the smell of fresh bread. One morning, however, it walked off the counter top and killed itself.

Whole pumpkin stuffed with couscous and mushrooms in a fresh tomato sauce.
