Everyone probably already knows this and I'm the last one to figure it out, but just in case someone just joined the forum, here's a suggestion. 
When I dip pens in lacquer, I get a lacquer buildup so have a jar of lacquer thinner on hand to drop the bushings into. When I get a buildup of CA glue on the bushings, I just plop them in the same jar of lacquer thinner and come back to nice, clean shiny bushings.
I don't know how long it takes to dissolve the glue because I've never timed it but is sure beats chipping, scraping or sanding the glue off if you're not in a hurry.
