A very fun family of 5 requested colorful stylus pens for Easter (I couldn't say no); top barrels are out of focus in this pic, but you get the idea:

Warm regards and Happy Holidays to all makers.

Many thanks for the kind comments!

I've since made more - and glad for the interest.

Todd - You asked about the technique:
I make my own acrylic paints with combinations of raw pigments, mica powders, and various acrylic polymers.
I get the paint relief effects by dragging hot or cool needles or picks of various shapes through the paint while the paint is drying.
I let them dry for 2 weeks before casting at 45-50 psi in tube-in molds.
I then turn and finish them as usual.

Gratefully - Bob

"...like looking into a candy store..."

Many thanks, Stephanie!

You got right to the heart of it.

These are low calorie - but tough to chew.

Gratefully - Bob
