Well I have commited myself to doing a bunch of pens for the troops and the pens of hope and I saw 2 sellers on ebay one had over 1150 cocobolo balnks in different listings and another had 350 bocote blanks listed lots of 25 in each listing. So I pm them on ebay and asked for donation to support our cause's one email me back and said NO THANKS, the other has not responded to either email I have sent them. Just wondering if I could say whom they are so we here on IAP don't buy from them. by the way I have purchased from both people. I now know that the venders here on IAP go far beyound the ebay sellers, I will not buy from the ebayers again...... Just had to get it off my mind....

You asked, they answered. I think they have a right to say yes or no without being blacklisted. Some people are supportive and some people are not. Keep the positive energy flowing and it will all come together. Just my 2 cents worth.

Nah

I wouldn't bother "black listing" - they didn't lie, cheat or steal. Giving is a personal thing and should be done willingly and freely. I occasionally give something away, because in my mind it's the right thing to do. I don't even care if nobody but me and God even know I did it.

+1 for me.

I have donated more than I care to let my wife know to the troop pens, but if someone on ebay had asked me for a donation they would have gotten a "no" from me also.

Well I didn't stop to think like you all have......... point made. just I always give to a worthy cause and don't understand some that don't........

We have all seen the questionable request for "free" stuff, even right here on the IAP. That does not men that we have stopped giving, just that we are a bit more cautious than before. PM on the way.

Your work is to be commended but I have to agree with Martin on this one. Just because they do not want to donate to your cause does not make them worthy of being blacklisted.
Perhaps they already donate to other worthy causes.

David,
I will donate some wood blanks for the cost of postage. Private email me with your address if you want to do this.

Now that's a great thought!!! I would be more than happy to do the same! Hell, I'll even pay for the postage, just send me your address. Give me some time to get them to you though, I am beyond busy at work which means getting to the post office before they close is difficult.

Well, I have always donated to causes but I was told once that a lot of these big church and Tv causes were owned by terrorist and they fooled people into donating and the money went to terrorist organizations. I didn't know if it was true or not ,so I just saved my money.
For some reason, I believe it
