Here is a dyed red poplar blank from CSUSA on a gold junior gentleman. CA finish on this bad boy. Comments and criticisms are invited.

Guess that is something popular is good for!!! What other colors have you dreamed up? And what kind of dye is used....I got a buttload of popular laying around.


Fit-n-finsh is spot on, and I like the color!

Thats very red, will it fade much?

I don't know. I've got a pretty thick CA finish on this, so I doubt it.

It is actually a 220V plug in. :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
