Dyed Box Elder Burl Predator Trumpet

Here is a Predator Trumpet that I knocked out this morning. It is made from dyed/stabilized Box Elder Burl with a delrin mouthpiece. The call is 7 1/2" long. This is my adaptation of a turkey trumpet style call into a predator call. It is a little higher pitched than a cottontail distress call but not quite as high as a rodent distress. Also, here is a pic of some caps that I got in today.

Where did you get such a long 'stabilized' blank[?]

It has a regular JC products reed like I use in my other closed reed calls. The blank started as a 7/8" pen blank from Arizona Silhouette.
