It would be nice if they had one for dust collectors and not just vacuums.

Erine, thank you for the info. I just bought one of the cheep ones and put it in front of my shop vac to clean up sheet rock dust. Believe it or not, it even worked on that nasty stuff. I still think it is over priced but it does what the add says.

They really do work, I use one every day and it grabs the real fine sanding dust and all the junk that would be in my lungs.

I made mine from a single sheet of flat sheet metal at the borg using some "plans" on lumberjock.
Less than $20 in mine, it's taller, but AMAZING how well that cyclone works.

I will never plan a change in my shop vacuum system that does not include the Dust Deputy.
After several months of using mine I have finally opened my Rigid Shop Vac and looked at the filter.
I really don't know why I even bothered ... the filter did have some dust, but I doubt that it would have been enough to fill a tablespoon twice.
I have the Dust Deputy mounted on a separate 30 gallon drum and only use the Rigid as the source of the vacuum. Absolutely no problems what so ever. :biggrin::biggrin:
