Any one out there have a HF dust collector or any experience with one?

I'm considering the purchase of the HF 45378-7VGA and wonder if it's any good.

All experiences are appreciated.

Michael .... I think I read a good review on it ... somewhere on the net. Don't forget the "Eternal, Most of the Time It Works, Sometimes It Doesn't 20% Off Coupon".[:D]

Michael,
I am not sure of the price of the HF unit but WQoodcraft has a 10% off sale going on this Sat if that helps any. Also if you do purchase the HF and want to convert it to a canister unit Wynnnv.com sells the canisters at a good price. Hope this helps.

Michael,

I own one of these and I love it. I think I paid $150 for it during one of their early sales. Lots of people who hang out over at woodnet.net own it. If you go over there and do a search of HF DC or other variations, you will get lots of info.

If you buy it, you will need to swap out the bags as they are 30 micron and not worth a darn. I am getting ready to sell my two 5 micron bags, so if you go the HF route, give me a hollar.

Michael,
I have the HF DC also... it's a great machine. I run mine almost continually when in the shop. Good power and good service. Also HF has good customer service response... I had a problem after the machine was about 9 months old, thought it was the motor burned out... called HF and they sent me a new 2 hp motor.. no charge... turned out to be a $12 switch on the motor... I agree with the bag swaps.. I still run the original bags, but my DC is in a separate closet outside the shop.
