Dust Collect

I'm replacing my flexible 4" hose with 5" ducts. PSI catalog says to Press and fit the crimped edge towards the cyclone. Being penny wise The 5-4-4 wye that came with the delta 70-650 could be used for 1 lateral coming off a 555 wye. Does this really matter which way the crimped end goes because the crimped end fit tight into the plastic/acrylic wye.

The crimp will trap dust if it faces away from the collector.

It can trap dust but I don't think it will be noticeable.
