Durability Scale

Assuming the same material, same style pen, same amount of usage.
What would be the least to most durable finish. Not by a particular brand name, just by finish type.

I've looked through all 9 pages of this section and all I find is little pieces of info here and there. And puzzle building isn't my strong suit. There are also a lot of abbreviations that Newbies like myself don't understand.

Currently I use Mylands friction polish and haven't had any problems

Just figured if we could get it in one post it would make peoples lives a lot easier.

No one simple answer. Different folks, different strokes. Very much doubt that there is a 'correct' answer to your question.

At least from what I have done and read CA is the most durable. I believe Enduro has its proponents. Several have been reporting good results with lacquers. The rub on finishes don’t seem to hold up well but some like them.

I agree with your sentiments, however... there are far too many factors, ranging from personal preferences, to local climate. Talk to someone who's been restoring old cars for a long time and ask him about the best weather for applying lacquer, for instance. [}] Not to mention the end user
