Well is probebly not for some but it's for me, I got this indexing plate ( for a year & 1/2 ) and never use it, the indexing plate was made by Jimgo I think, will have to check this, the plate has been done to fit mini lathe and got 24 holes, the question is : if I want to do 3, 5, 6, 8, 12 sides what I should do, wich ratio I should use, any one can help ? Thanks

Serge,
No, I didn't make it, but thanks for thinking of me! lol

The easy way to determine the ratio is to divide the number of holes by the number of sides. That is, for a 3 sided pen, you'd do 24/3 = 8, and for a 6 sided pen, you'd do 24/6=4. A 5-sided pen can't easily be made using an indexing plate with 24 holes, unless you're willing to accept one side being slightly smaller than the rest.
