Duck Calls

I have not had much time to turn anything since moving back to AR, but I had a little time this past weekend so I turned a couple of blanks that I had poured from alumilite.

Welcome back, those are beautiful calls... haven't tried any acrylics/plastics yet... have to give that try soon.

Did you flame polish the insides of the stopper?

Thanks for all of the comments. PTJeff, it is not flame polished. I don't make too many duck calls, only when someone asks for one, so I have not invested in a toneboard jig yet. These are modified Echo poly inserts. I have been looking at one of the Smith Little Torches though. I would like to try flame polishing on some of the acrylics that I turn
