It says for metal lathe. Is there any difference between wood/metal lathe MT2?

I'm thinking no -- but want to be sure.

yes it will, i too bought one off of ebay that was labeled "metal"
but, i think you could find one a bit cheaper, i paid $31.00 with shipping and it was 3/4'' also.
