As a member of this forum for over a year now, I have received a massive amount of help and generosity from the other members here. I figured I would help where I can and volunteer to run a contest. This is my first time doing so, so I appreciate your patience!

I have not changed anything major in the rules at all from last year, only small formatting changes. Here are the draft rules for the Freestyle Pen Contest:

***
Contest Description:
It's time to use your imagination and push the envelope of pen design!
The trademark of this contest is it grants the most freedom for creative design.
This is the contest where we stretch the boundaries of our craft and put more emphasis on concept and design rather than function. We are looking for the pen that inspires pen design for the next year. In years past there have been cigars, space ships, modern rifles, medieval weapons, musical instruments, Spongebob, a hat with a feather in it, dragons, a stack of animals that were carved out of brass, lab equipment, and others.

Contest Rules:
1. Follow the Universal Bash Guidelines
2. It must write.
3. It must be made by you.
4. You may use any and all tools at your disposal as long as you are the one that operates it (i.e. Cnc, Laser, waterjet, foot lathe, stone mill - any and all techniques).
5. Pen kit parts are permitted to be used in the entries, but it is requested to keep them at a minimum. You will be judged according to your innovativeness.
6. All Entries must be family friendly, nothing gross, disgusting or vulgar please.

Entry process:
1. Photograph a maximum of three (3) pictures of the pen you would like to enter.
2. Email the photographs to [email TBA] in one of the following file formats: PNG, JPEG, BMP, or GIF.

- Winners will be decided by popular vote.
- Pens will be judged by the pen – please limit props in the photos.
- Voting will occur for 72 hours after the entries are posted for public voting.
