On a plus side .... created a whole sheet of printed circuit boards this evening, and repaired my sons TV so dont have to worry about buying a replacement! Result

Brad,

No need to Hyde anything in your workshop.

Thanks for showing, telling, setting an example I for one need to give my workshop the treatment as well.

Share with you the satisfaction, I too love it when a plan comes together.

Kind regards Peter.

I think your wife got it wrong. Dr Jeckyl was the handsome one and Hyde was the crazy looking dude.

After seeing you in your lab coat and your very clean work space, my first thought was "why you you need a 3,000 pound press to fix a TV or computer?"

But then, reflecting back on some of the computer issues I've dealt with this past week, perhaps a mammoth press would be a welcomed addition to my shop!

Do you think the HF 5 ton press would be sufficient to "fix" an unruly IBM ThinkPad?

Just teasing! Nice shop!

THere is nothing wrong with a Manly Mans Pen press. Perhaps Constant could borrow it for his video. How ever your color scheme is way off center.

Your Lab coat is just a little too clean Brad. But, the circuit board is cool.

Yes though i do try and keep it clean! as if it were not it would mean ive covered myself in corrosive or poisonous chemicals lol.. my blue engineering one is filthy and would live up to anyones expectations

Who did the paintings on the wall? Penttych paintings?
I bought them from a chap in ireland. its a photograph oviously touched up in photoshop, and printed over the canvases

This is a 10 Ton press so is MCSE,MCSA and suitable for fixing any type of laptop right through to servers

Personally I think the 10ton pen press is a bit over the top!!!!!!!!
Very nicely shop setup though.
Kryn

To be fair you dont know what i use it for  Its predominanty used for stamping out square holes from sheet metal.

It has pancaked some pen components in its time lol.... needless to say i now assemble pens standing on a block of softwood with it. as for the colour scheme, lol.... the bizarre orange grows on you in time. It was one thing to talk the mrs into letting me convert the second living room into a workshop, but i didnt want to delay the process by decorating the room first giving her an opportunity to change her mind lol

LOL! I am MCSE, but I must have missed class on that 10 ton press day:) what a terrible day to have been sick! Not much is life is as satisfying as declaring dominance over an unruly computer........except, maybe payback to an uppity armidillo:)

I know why the place is so clean as I spotted the vacuum cleaner at the right of your bench ... but, Dude, you gotta do something about those knarley knees.

Oh yea, black socks with lab coat? Thats over doing it in the fashion world.

So that is what a shop looks like when your teenage son and his friends don't "borrow" it for their high-school projects.

my 12 year old works in there every sunday to earn his pocket money. 4 hours later and its cleaner than it was to start off with  teach them shop etiquette while they're young and they'l tidy your shop for you

Brad....um this is the space you do computer work and anodizing in, but ya got another space for actually turing pens right?

No offense man but I have been in doctors offices that were not as clean as that shop! Obviously it works well for you!............mine gets vacuumed when the kid runs the shop vac around out of boredom.
