Hi All. Just joined this great site and having a look around.

I started turning about eight months ago as a hobby. I mainly make pens and bowls having turned maybe two dozen pens so far. I live just south of Sydney, Australia with my wife and two children. When not turning I am busy working as an airline pilot or chasing the children around.

I look forward to exploring the site and expanding my pen knowledge.

Stuart, Welcome from Georgia (USA). Please be careful as you begin this hobby as it can (and usually does) become very addictive. But is great source of fun enjoyment. Visit the IAP site often and you will meet some great people always will to assist with your turning efforts. Again, welcome!

Ron from Jacksonville Florida here. You live near some of my relatives. My Half-brother lives on Philip Island, his sister in Melborne and two of his kids in Brisbane.

Enjoy the Pen-turning. I'm a newbie myself, only having started in December. LOVE doing it...when I got the time.
