Hi Robert, just saw this post. I live in the Rocky Mountains and am surrounded by Douglas Fir trees. I don't have any noticeable trees around me with burls but this coming spring I have to log some acreage and if I come across any I'll let you know. And if you need some I will gladly send them to you- Tom

I think I have some very rare birdseye burl pieces if interested, they were cut over 30 years ago. I purchased a table slab at an estate sale. They don't have mineral stains but the burl looks cool dyed.

I possibly have some from the original sale of them on here a few years ago. I'll have a rummage through my stash
