Double Handled Box experiment

I have been trying to apply my multi axis approach to putting two handles on a piece. I can't seem to get it right for some reason even though it should be easier than teapots. This is my latest effort, kinda ugly. Handles are too big for the piece. Probably need to go with a larger bowl or box.

Also experimented with a small hollow firm.

Interesting looking be edge/bark piece. Perhaps if your handles were rotated 90 degrees like wings instead of ears?
