Here is a blank that I worked on for the last 3 weeks getting it dyed and stabilized. I think it really came out well. The chatoyance of this wood is just unbelievable.

As always I show off my pens with very large images so customers can really see the pen and the wood. I hope you like this one.

Very beautiful!

Schmidt Nib; what are your thoughts vs Bock?

Do you have a preferred vendor to suggest? (PM is fine).

Generally, I'm the kind to let the wood show its own beauty. . . . . Generally.

But specifically, that is outstanding. I really like the color transitions. How about a few more pictures.

It is not 3 color dying. It is 2 color dying with a mixing of the colors where they meet. It is only a very little mixing but at least I got some of the mix.

Breathtaking! I would like that pen :) or you can just make me a blank to buy from you so I can make my own....pplllleeeeaaaasssseeeeee :)

Simply brilliant! The dye job is spectacular and it looks perfect on that hardware. The bar hasn't been raised -- it has been elevated!

Wowsers!!!!!

...congrats Mike. Of ALL of your work that I have seen, this is right up there as one of the best in my opinion. Nicely executed. Be well......Jan

Beautiful pen Mike! Great job on the dye job. That grain really stands out & shows off your dye effort!
