One day last week I cut and drilled 20 Jr. Gent/Jr Statemen blanks, all were acrylic,I thought I had painted all the tubes that were for translucent blanks, wrong. As you can see the brass tube shows makeing the blank look yellowed...I USUALLY paint all my tubes for acrylic but got lazy and only painted the translucent ones and some how missed this one.Moral:stop rushing.....

Excellent tip. I did the exact same thing at Christmas. I ended up turning the acrylic off and saved the tube at least. This is one of those things you don't really notice until it's too late.

THAT looks VERY yellow, Roy.

You sure you didn't PAINT it YELLOW?????

It IS UNIQUE - tell people it was your "artistic eye"!

Good tip! I have so little time in the shop, I tend to hurry. And it sometimes blows up in my face.

But, also, only those you tell that it is a screw up will know. Turn another to match and just don't tell them.
