Found out yesterday, my Wife's Nephew was killed Saturday night.

From what we know he went out and had a few drinks with his uncle, and his wife was calling him several times to get home. He dropped off his uncle at his house and proceeded home, and I guess he was on some back roads in Texas someplace and took a corner too fast, and rolled his F250.

He went through the windshield, and the truck landed on him, where he laid for two hours until the paramedics came. The paramedics revived his heart and he was air lifted to the hospital, but at the hospital he was declared brain dead.

The pulled the plug some time yesterday. :frown: He has five kids four girls and one boy and from what I understand they are all under 10, he was 35 Too Young!!!

So if you drink DON"T DRIVE!!!! it's not worth the results.

This is one of those blatantly obvious, constantly in your face, pieces of advice that so few people listen too.

Sorry for your loss. I have lost a few friends this way.

Thanks All.

If only one person reads this and remembers it one time and calls a cab, or gets a ride, it's all I can wish for.

You all have a good day and go home tonight and hug the wife and kids, you never know.

Another lesson to be learned is to wear your seatbelt. He wouldn't have gone through the windshield if he had. Modern car engineering can to a phenomenal job of protecting the occupant, IF the occupant stays put.
