I just wanted to share with everyone the progress of the donations. I recieved three packages today, with a total of 12 pens! I have a couple made myself, but will get a few more together before i post pics of my contributions.

Everyone please understand, I am not sure what everyones real names are, and none of the packages that came in today had any info but real names. I would thank each individual, and PM them to let them know their package has arrived, but i don't want to send the wrong person a thank you PM so i will just thank each person on this thread as the packages come in!

PACKAGE ONE

This package had tw really nice slims! Beautiful wood, and nice wrkmanship to boot!

PACKAGE TWO

7 SLIMS! COUNT EM SEVEN!!! one in wood (AMAZING FINISH ON THIS PEN) two of em have "football" clips, and sport the local University colors! NICE STUFF!

This package had three really cool bullet pens, with the red, white, and blue segs on the top! AWESOME WORK!

The response to my request has been AMAZING! People have really helped out alot! I truely appreciate all the work and time and money you folks are investing for these rugrats.
 
PACKAGE NINE

Another hard one to not know who sent it...

A beautiful Cigar, and Slimline. AMAZING FIT AND FINISH. This person is a MASTER!!!

PLUS LOTSA beautiful blanks. Every single one of em is spalted, or quilted. Not a plain blank in the bunchand they came in with perfect timing!!! (see next picture!!)

PLUS a HUGE bottle of Medium CA glue, two applicator bottles, and a bottle of accelerator. I didn't even know you could get CA in such a big bottle.

This has got to be the definition of "ABOVE AND BEYOND"!

This doner ordered all of this stuff and had it delivered to me. ALL for the kids!

12, COUNT EM TWELVE SIERRAS. 6 in Gold, 6 in Chrome. They could have easily stopped there and been a HERO in my book, BUT NOOOOO...

2 Button click Sierras.. And in upper end metal finishes to boot...

I think the two sierra size Ambonya Burl blanks were freebies from the shipper. Freebies or not, they will make excellent additions to the collection!!!!

And the final package for today... Well it isn't really a package for the donation but i had to show it anyway.

The doner that sent all the Sierra kits above, also ordered this and had it delivered. Despite my pleas to everyone NOT to send stuff for me, it was made very clear to me that these are for me. I think one of em might find it's way into the donation box... And one of em (the one in the middle) might find its way to Idaho, wrapped around a pen!!! hehe

Number 12 if i am not mistaken.

I kinda feel bad for learning so much by doing this. Having the opportunity to see and hold so many beautiful pens made by so many people has been an amazing learning experience. I have learned that my finish on wood pens need improvement.. BAD.


Well for some reason, the files i am trying to attach need to be tiny tiny to work. I don't want to crop the pics that small, so i am going to just post the link to each pic in the thread like i was doing earlier in the thread. sorry for the trouble.

I got 3 or 4 more packages in yesterday, but didnt get a chance to take pics. I will post pics of yesterdays packages with Todays later this evening.

I like the idea of leaving the CB off and making the entire pen thicker like the one here. Another cool mod possibility for the 7MM kit! Geesh i am learning alot doing this!

I have to apologize for slackig in my duties of keeping everyone up to date.

I have about 6 or 8 pics to add, and will be doing so through the day today. I am also going to start another thread about the donations for another reason!
 
Allright! I am all but caught up with downloading the donation pics. I got a couple of packages in yesterday that i have to take pics of then post.

Unfortunately, I have alot of stuff going on in my daily life, and my dial up connection is terribly slow, so i am going to do the updates a bit different.

I will download the pics in my gallery, and then i will post on this thread. Those interested can then go to the gallery and see the donations!

I just loaded several new pics to my gallery, so you can go there now.

I just posted pictures 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31.

I also have 2 of the Sierra kits finished, and another 4 almost done. Look for pics of them tomorrow.
