As you old timers know, and as you new members will soon discover, part of the February Birthday Bash is the Donation Drawing. By donating $50, you get one of our Anniversary Logo Coffee Mugs, and a chance to win a great prize when we draw names at the end of the month.

HERE is LAST YEAR'S Donation Drawing thread.

In addition to donated prizes, we purchase some items for the drawing.

So, as I get ready to go shopping, I'd like to know what sort of things YOU would like to see in the prize list. Tools, equipment, supplies, safety gear, cameras, blanks? Give me some ideas and I'll see what I can do!

Jeff -- the simple answer to your question would be ... yes. However, I think you're looking for a bit more info. On many wish lists is a photo light box with lights so we can take better pictures. I would also think many would like to see some unique blanks (the baseball and football PC blanks come to mind). Another item of interest for most turners would be a complete beginning casting set-up -- resin, forms, hardener, measuring cups, stoppers, etc., or a stabilizing set up -- Cactus Juice and a chamber.

Thanks for asking.

Drill doctor, easy chuck, beall lathe buffer, $100 gift card to their choice supplier PSI, Woodcraft, CSUSA. The " A tast of carbide" from Capn Eddie Castelin.

Just a few ideas.

Scroll chucks any brand but I am partial to Novas. Including special jaws for on lathe drilling of blanks. Smaller prize might be one of the PSI dedicated blank drilling chucks.

I thought you did an excellent job last year Jeff. I must have ruined at least 3 keyboards drooling over all those goodies. How about a copy or two of Don's (its_virgil) new book?

How about a pen made by a member of the winners choosing, well at least from any makers willing to participate.
