Just ordered several items on PennStateInd. They are offering free shipping on qualifying purchases over $75. I added all of my items to my "cart" and went to check out. I had more than $75 in qualifying purchases and some extra items that didn't qualify. Because I had those items in my cart I couldn't get free shipping. So I took $28 of items out of my cart to complete the sale and get free shipping. :confused:

What are you doing shopping and not working anyway. :biggrin: You want tomorrow off not today. Tomorrow mornings commute is gonna be nasty.
 
I think the deal with that is they charge a pretty flat rate of aroung $7-$8 so if even one item was in there the shipping would be calculated, I think they do it by weight. Where you may have save would be if your order went up in weight where instead of paying the $7 they would have bumped you up to $10 but stayed at the $7. I could be wrong though, it happens often.
 
Lunch break...every last minute of the hour goes to good use. Also weather people have little crediblity with me...I will worry about it IF it happens. BTW do you have any walnut burl in stock?

Did you try calling PSI and asking them? I recently bought a chuck (qualifying item) from them, and some non-qualifying items. Called them and got entire thing shipped free.
 
Having to call them every time they make that mistake is not acceptable in my book. They won't answer email's. Most people just let it go and that is what they bank on. JMO
