A couple of black Ti Jr. gents, couple of Rhodium Venus, a few Zens, some blanks. Not a lot of stuff... Exotics has most of it, except for some stabilized blanks. I don't want to pay two separate shipping charges for two very small orders.

Sounds like you should run a little group buy. ;-)

The dyed, curly poplar I have been getting has incredible chatoyancy - usually the curls are broader than the curls in maple and they make striking pens. Quilted maple would look great dyed.

I only use stabilized wood now. I used some non-stabilized wood in many varieties that cracked over time. I wholesale my pens and cannot afford for a customer to have problems.

Being in Ohio, buckeye is my biggest seller. It does not do nearly so well in WV, KY or PA, at least for me.

I have some poplar burl, i've not turned any of it to know what it would look like. Has some eyes, not a lot of figure though.

What we can do with spalted/curly poplar...

The Atrax is my contribution to last year's pith (pic from Chris Burgess aka justturnin).
The Sierra Elegant Beauty (sorry for the pic) rather than spalted is a curly piece of poplar that I died during stabilisation.
Generally these pens don't decorate my booth for a long time.
