Does anyone buy kits from taylors mirfield (uk)?

I buy my pen kits from TM for the last few years. Yesterday i visited their website and saw that the omega model to be in clearance ( didnt mention anything about being discontinued) and i sent them an email to ask them whats going on. Its supposed to be their best seller so stopping its production sounds a bit strange. Anyone knows anything by any chance?

It's been a while since I bought from Dan, but my understanding was that the Omega was being updated.

Exactly so why put them under the clearance section of the page. There is a facebook link but it doesnt seem to work, i wish i knew more

I suppose that he want to sell his existing stock of Omega kits before he puts the upgraded version on the market.

Both new and old thread (updated)models are in the clearance section

Mike, I just checked out their catalogue, and it appears that the existing stock is in clearance at a lower rate than the upgraded model. Different prices ....looks like he has just included the new ones as well.

I have had a great deal of difficulty getting any customer service from Dan at Taylor's Mirfield. I ended up sourcing missing parts from their kits from William Wood Rite after almost 1 year of back and forth with Dan. Would not recommend trying to import his products. Stick with Penn State for reliable on time delivery and great customer service
