Do You Know any Knitters?

if so can you ask them about square knitting needles? I'd never heard of them until I stumbled across them them on Etsy. They're supposed to be easier to hold and give a more consistent stitch size, but I'm not a knitter so have no idea. A square needle solves a production problem for me.

Why not use chopsticks?

These have a square end ( quality ones do ) and you can taper the other end to whatever slope you wish easily with a belt sander ( or by hand if you enjoy sanding that much )
